Story
Did you know brain tumours are the biggest cancer killers of people under 40 in the UK? The Brain Tumour Charity is the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. They understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour, a cure really can't wait.
After suffering a brain tumour in 2014, I am dedicated to give back, so that people (especially young people) get the treatment and support they need to face this devastating illness. I am also dedicated to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of brain tumours so that, as a society, we can detect them earlier. By raising awareness and catching them early, we really can save lives.
On Saturday 25th March, I will host a five-aside football tournament on the St. Andrews Sports Centre outdoor astroturf pitches to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity. There will be 16 teams and the tournament will run from 12 to 3:30/4 pm I would love to see as many of you as possible, everyone is welcome whether you like/play football or not.
Even if you cannot attend on the day, any donations through this page would go a very long way. Thank you so much in advance for your support, every penny towards this great cause, means so much! Let's get together, have some fun and raise money!
