The Brain haemorrhage support group was set up 3 years ago by a group of people who have survived a brain haemorrhage one of the founders being Maureen Mellor (Ste's girlfriends mum) who had a haemorrhage 7 years ago this february
The aim of the group is to provide practical and emotional support to improve the quality of like for all people affected by a brain haemorrhage.The group hold support group meetings and runs information courses for its members.They have produced information leaflets that are distrubtion around hospital and given talks to education nurses about what it was like to be a patient who has survived a life changing event in their life. They have a BUDDY scheme that provides one to one emotional to those effected by a brain haemorrhage.
