Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

To celebrate the conclusion of World Autism Awareness Week in style, we’re running a Minecraft Marathon on Monday, 3rd April, from 10am. Our goal is to play Minecraft for 12 solid hours , and spend the time creating a homage to the Innovation Centre and celebrating reaching 1000 licences.

The aim of the day is to have a bit of fun in Minecraft, but we’re also hoping to do our bit to increase awareness of Autistic Spectrum Disorders. We’re raising funds for Autism East Midlands and our local radio station, Positively Autistic, at the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust.

The Minecraft world in which we’re re-creating the Innovation Centre will be an autism-friendly space, with players joining by invitation only, and there will be moderators present to make sure nobody’s “griefing” anyone else. We’ll be live-streaming various perspectives on the game throughout the day on Twitch, and live-tweeting about what we’re up to, so be sure to follow along on the day.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Remember to Gift-Aid any donations, so that the charity recieve a little extra, at no additional cost to you.

Thank you for your support.
