We are a small independent charity to rescue and rehome unwanted cats

Story

On Saturday 10th June 2023, I'll be running the Lake District 50km Ultra Marathon to raise money for Shropshire Cat Rescue.

Shropshire Cat Rescue is one of the UK’s largest regional cat rescue and rehoming centres and is based in Shrewsbury. The charity has been caring for and re-homing rescued and unwanted cats and kittens for over 21 years. In that time they have looked after over 8,000 cats. They provide shelter, veterinary care, food and lots of love to hundreds of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens every year.

With the cost of living crisis, the shelter is increasingly expensive to run and they need our help more than ever.  Therefore, if you're able to spare a few £s, it'll be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
