We are a lifesaving emergency service to the people of Lincs & Notts

Story

Bradley wanted to raise some money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance after his accident last Halloween. That day is one that I'll forever have etched in my brain seeing him just laid in the mud soaked wet through. We still don't know what actually happened but I do know he was very unlucky to have the outcome of the crash being his brake lever imbedded in this leg. From first seeing him laid there I just wanted to change places with him but I'm still amazed at just how brave he was. I can't imagine how he must of felt being stuck in a cold wet muddy field, surrounded by so many strange people which included volunteers, first responders, the fire brigade and the LNAA crew.

Bradley was very lucky to come away with no lasting injury from that day. He really enjoyed his ride in the helicopter but the thing is the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance receive no Government funding so as well as going out and saving lives daily they also have to raise the money needed to fund the whole operation. They currently have to raise £8 million per year. Bradley has said since a few weeks after his accident that he wanted to do something to raise some money for LNAA. We talked about a few things and what we came up with is to ride from Benniworth and the scene of the accident to the LNAA HQ in Lincoln. We've come up with a winding route that crosses the Lincolnshire wold's and is just over 30 miles. Let's all help Bradley pay back some of his bill.
