Hello, I am Brad a Store manager working for Co-op food in Milton Keynes. I few months ago another store manager put out a call for staff across the business to trek to Everest base camp and all in aid of a local charity of our choice. 

In 2022,  myself and 20 other members of staff from all over the country will be flying to Nepal to take on a 14 day hike to Mount Everest base camp at and altitude of 5364 meters. 

The charity I have chosen to raise money for is Harry's rainbow this charity supports children and young people across Milton Keynes who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling. 

I have chosen this charity because back in 2005 my farther passed away leaving my mother to look after 3 children alone. Although we didn't get help from this charity the work they do would have made a massive difference to our lives. 

As I have seen the impact this has on a family first hand I could not think of a more appropriate charity to represent and I am very excited to difference to family's in my local area.
