In previous year's I have climbed both Scafell Pike and Snowdon for different charities with other members of my local church. This year we've decided to do the National Three Peaks Challenge on the 4th of July to raise money for Birmingham City Mission.

The National Three Peaks challenge involves climbing the three respective highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in a 24 hour period. There will be four of us taking part in the challenge with support from a driver.

The Mountains are:

- Ben Nevis (Scotland, 10.5miles (17km) with 4436ft (1352m) of ascent)

- Scafell Pike (England, 6 miles (9.6km) with 3244ft (989m) of ascent)

- Snowdon (Wales, 7 miles (11.2km) with 2372ft (723m) of ascent.).
