Between 12:00pm on 15th April 2013 and 12:00pm 16th April 2013, 35 players from the University of Bradford's American Football team, the Bradford Bears, completed a 24 hour weightlifting marathon in aid of UBU RAG week. 

The participants bench pressed and squatted a staggering total of 552470kg, the weight of 3 Boeing 747 aircraft.

The reason for taking on this challenge is to support RAG charities The Joshua Project and One in a Million supporting disadvantaged young people in the Bradford area.
