Story

Some of the year 6 pupils at Bradfield Primary school are participating in a 'Mini Tough Mudder' event in May, Henley on Thames, to raise money via sponsorship for the charity called Nephrotic Syndrome Trust (NeST). One of the pupils Will Featherstone has suffered from the rare kidney condition called Nephrotic Syndrome since the age of three. Together the children  will participate in the challenge to raise vital funds for research into a possible cure.

The childrens and parents response to this event has been so heart warming , and shows the warmth and camaraderie that the children feel for each other and their pal Will.

We wish them every success in their mudder!

Nephrotic Syndrome (NS) affects approx 10,000 people in the UK, majority are children, with no known cause or cure. The current treatment is non-specific and highly toxic, with many potentially life-threatening complications. NeST funds Bristol Children's Hospital in researching NS to find a cure.
