I am taking the 100 Wave Challenge for Boys to Men Mentoring in order to support  efforts to bring positive male mentorship to hundreds of young men in San Diego County. Boys to Men is a nonprofit organization facilitating group mentoring for the fatherless, at-risk, and disconnected teenage boys of San Diego. Through strategic partnerships with local schools we connect teenage boys with compassionate mentors who provide the encouragement, empowerment, and accountability the boys need to thrive..  I think we are addressing future societal disruptions at their core, before it's too late.  The boys in the groups could go either way....We help them to go the good way, uncovering their true spirit and allowing them to learn and grow and that they do not have to join gangs, sell drugs, commit crimes, and cause havoc.  There is nothing more powerful than surrounding a young man with a community of support and giving him the opportunity to reach his fullest potential.  I Mentor some of these boys and have seen first hand the results of this program.  I know several  boys that could have very well ended up incarcerated who are know teachers, tradesmen, business men etc.  It is simply the best cause I can think of.  Your gracious and generous annual donations have helped me support these young men who are working to be the best they can be!  I have been humbled by your continued support.  I pray that you will continue to make a difference by supporting this awesome organization.
