Story

I'm running a half marathon to raise funds for Cardiff University's cancer research department, a cause that's close to my heart. Last year my mum was diagnosed with blood cancer. She had amazing treatment in the Edward Jenner clinic at Gloucester Royal Hospital. Happily for us she received the ‘all clear’ a few weeks ago. I know not every family gets this happy ending and am so grateful to all the researchers and medics who made it possible for us. I’m running for them and any support you can give me will help them continue their brilliant, groundbreaking work so more families like mine can get that all important hope. Thank you for your support!
