Story

Darren and I are back fundraising for the psoriasis association. I have had some tough times in the past few years with my psoriasis and I am passionate about fundraising so that people can get the support and medication that they need and that further research can be funded into this disease. It’s not much fun wearing long sleeves to cover up, not wanting to go swimming or to the beach as you know people will stare, and the itch is relentless! The pain from the associated arthritis is difficult, and things can be mentally tough. The current hair loss which is just another autoimmune disease is one of the more challenging parts so far! I’m running the 10k to thank the charity for the support and funding they offer, and to offer hope to people suffering out there. I have found that running helps me mentally as well as physically and want to try to give something back. The psoriasis charity is a little lesser known charity so every pound makes a huge difference .Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
