Story
Hi, I’m Danny Sinden — and I’m reaching out with a story rooted in love, legacy, and the transformative power of intergenerational connection.
I’m running for Perley Health, an incredible organization where I have the privilege to lead and serve.
On May 25th, I’ll be running a half marathon in support of something truly transformational — a vision that brings Seniors, Veterans, and children together in a way that changes lives.
At Perley Health, we’re working to build an on-site daycare, creating daily, meaningful and integrated connections between generations.
Your donation will directly support:
• The creation of an intergenerational daycare, where children and older adults are truly integrated in everyday life within a community of care
• Groundbreaking research into the measurable benefits of intergenerational programs for both Seniors and children
• Education and advocacy efforts to scale this model across the country
The impact is real and proven:
• For Seniors and Veterans: reduced isolation, improved mood and cognitive health, a renewed sense of purpose
• For children: stronger emotional intelligence, language skills, empathy, and respect for the aging process
• For families and communities: more connection, more care, and less division between generations
But this run is also personal. As someone with a big family, my own kids, nieces and nephews are fortunate to be incredibly close with their grandparents, aunts and uncles. I’ve seen firsthand how these intergenerational relationships nurture confidence, compassion, and joy on both sides. Now, I want to be part of offering that gift to even more families.
Let’s go the distance together — for a future where every generation thrives.
Thank you for your support!!
