In pursuit of adventure, we ( Olly Draper, Jon Vine Groves & Lewis Tarrier) have made the unwise decision to team up for India's Rickshaw run

Over 3 weeks in April, our team Boys Don't Chai will saying our prayers & flying across the world to drive a clapped-out, broken down 3 wheeled tin can uphill across the wilds of India to raise money for the Alzheimers Society.

Starting in the south of India from Kerala, we will be whizzing off in an old Rickshaw- with at a top speed of 14mph- into the unknown; without a compass or a clue, we'll try and reach the Himalayan town of Gangtok- 3000KM away and 2000m elevation from the start, and try not to die.

Essentially, Rickshaws are not a very good idea. They’re not very fast, they smell, they're tiny, they fall over when you go round corners and break down more often than a 3 year old. A days driving feels like you’ve been sat on by an elephant.

Along the way we'll no doubt be facing danger, food poisoning, numerous breakdowns, blind lorries drivers with death wishes, spiders, snakes, elephants, tigers, mosquitos, malaria, 50 degree heat, sun stroke, zero phone reception, unfinished roads, missing bridges, crumbling cliff tops, political unrest, more breakdowns and all the colour and chaos that East India has to offer 3 under-prepared travellers.
