Hi everybody,

I am not going to tell you about the people I lost due to Cancer or the people close to me whom I witnessed to suffer because of this terrible disease. Obviously, these days everyone has lost somebody or has watched someone close to them suffer because of Cancer, everybody has seen the torture which the disease puts a person through, everybody has seen the flame of life quenching over just a few months, turning a person full of live to a broken organism expressing only desperation.

Understanding the ways Cancer works is in the roots of finding a successful way to fight it and there is no better way than researching extensively all kinds of the disease, the latter inconveniently being as diverse and cheeky as possible. Being a scientist myself, I am aware of the cost for research, especially high quality one. It is a cost most of the people, including me, could not afford in their lifetime. But when put together, a little from everybody could make the difference.

I could ask people to help, tell them everything I have written above and hope they will understand. Instead, I will try something else, a bit more spicy. I will put myself under the pressure of being beaten, wrestled and pushed through my limits. I will starve to lose weight, hurt from sore muscles and bruises and beg for help literally and figuratively and my only motivation and driving force would be the help for Cancer Research I am providing with the donations that I and the people that support me would accumulate. Eventually, I will step in a cage and meet a person who suffered just like me and passed through all the obstacles a challenge like Ultra MMA provides. We will fight like gladiators, but this time it will not be for the king and the crowd, it will be for the people we love and care for. We will not fight against each other, we will fight together!
