Story
My son Eric (who's 8) can't make sense of events unfolding in Ukraine. What he can do however is pick out cool paper, halve it with a guillotine, laminate it, trim it again, cut rounded corners, punch a hole at the top and thread some yellow and blue ribbon through, to make some awesome looking bookmarks, with a gentle nod to Ukraine. He's really hoping you'll be kind enough to donate to the Disasters Emergency Committee in return for one; please. This was his idea.
Eric's already made his first few batches of bookmarks, with plenty of fantastic designs available - including rainbows, florals and underwater prints - there really is something for everyone.
To claim yours, simply make a donation to the DEC on here (no amount is too big or too small) then direct message Eric's Facebook page @bookmarksforukraine to arrange free delivery of your bookmark(s), anywhere within the UK.
Together, you and Eric can make a difference. Thank you! xxx

Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing hundreds of thousands to flee. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.
DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.
