Story
BookBound 2020 is an online 'antiviral' literary festival
**NB: festival week may be over, but we're still collecting funds for the charity Mind. You can continue to access all our author events via www.bookbound2020.co.uk The archive will remain online for free, for good, for book-lovers across the globe**
Initially running from 27 April to 3 May 2020, the festival brought together a host of well-known authors and new voices from around the globe for a week of online conversations, readings and much more.
Over festival week and beyond, BookBound 2020 is fundraising in aid of Mind, a mental health charity. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and any donations will go to support the charity's essential work over the coming months.

**End April**
The brilliant Nicola, one of our communications volunteers, took part in the 2.6 challenge (#TwoPointSixChallenge) to raise money for Mind. Her challenge - to read the first chapter from 26 different books! Some titles were chosen by her, some by us and some by her partner. Raising over £300 alone, the whole BookBound 2020 team is grateful for Nicola's wonderful work, and the generosity of her supporters.
