Story

Bonny loved fresh air and exercise and some of her happiest hours were spent going for long walks around Hampstead Heath with her many friends.  Bonny very much wanted to establish an annual fund-raising walk around Hampstead Heath in aid of ‘Ovarian cancer action’ so many thanks for coming to this site to make a donation and we very much hope that you will also be joining us on the 2nd walk around Hampstead Heath in Bonny’s memory on 14th September 2008.

We will be meeting up at 10.15am at the large Henry Moore sculpture which is on the grass just in front of and slightly to the West of Kenwood House…leaving at 10.30am and we should be back for noon. Please do tell anyone you know who either knew Bonny or would just like to support Ovarian cancer action about the walk.  If they go to www.bonnys-walk.org, it will give them options to get sponsorship or just to come back to this site to make a donation.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Ovarian cancer action will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please let us know whether you are coming on the walk by sending an e-mail to bonnys-walk@london.com

Big thanks for your support from Emma,  Amy,  Alex and Steven

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
