Story
This year's charity concert is in support of UCLH (University College London Hospital) charity.
Event Details
Date: Saturday 26th November 2022
Time: 6PM till late
Each year the Ladva family holds an annual gala event to raise funds for medical equipment for UCLH's Intensive Care Unit. This unit has been chosen as this is where our father received amazing care as a patient. We will always be truly thankful to the hospital for their work.
To date, with the support of our wonderful guests and sponsors, we have raised over £20,000 for charity since 2013.
Our last in-person event was in 2019 and attracted nearly 200 guests. Guests were treated to entertainment from a five piece Bollywood band, delicious Indian food, £2,000.00 worth of raffle prizes and plenty of drinks and dancing! This year, our charity event will be held in-person again.
From this year's event with Shama Shah, Chirag Rao and the 515 Crew, the family hope to raise £5,000.00.
The Ladva family say:
“Our aim is always to raise as much as we can for charity. This year has been particularly trying for the NHS. We all know one person who has benefitted from the care of the NHS. We never know in our lives when we will need the help of a doctor or nurse. We urge our guests to be generous and dig deep so we can reach our £5,000.00 target from Shama's programme on 26th November. We are thankful that we are, in a small way, able to make a difference and we hope our guests can too''.
All are welcome to attend so please feel free to spread the word to friends, family, work colleagues and anybody who you think would be interested in attending too.
Thank you to all guests, friends and family in advance for your ongoing support.
In 2023, we hope to be back and host an in-person black tie event for you to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our annual Bollywood concert.
We hope to see you there!
Best regards,
The Ladva Family
