Update of May 2021:
After a long C19-led pause, I'm delighted to be back in my cycling gear, and I am keen to complete my target of 3,000 km to raise awareness about cancer. I started this fundraising campaign before the C19 settled in because we live in a world where social media can prescribe our content based on algorithms and social trends. As a result, organisations such as Macmillan Cancer Support are not receiving enough visibility and merits. Cycle with me or support my campaign by donating to Macmillan Cancer Support via JustGiving.

Original post:
The drivers for this initiative are friends who, while being inspirational characters and considerate to others, were unfortunate enough to have been struck by cancer.
I am now keen to blend one of my hobbies with this cause. I aim to cycle 3,000 km to create awareness about cancer patients' transformational journeys, which perhaps others may not even perceive.
I picked this charity based on a reference from one of my friends who worked with Macmillan and praised them for the help and support they have offered her in times of great need.
A complete list of cycle rides is available on my blog: https://www.bogdanciocoiu.com/initiatives/fundraising-macmillan-cancer-research-cycle-3000km-awareness/.
Warm wishes,
