I have dreamt for a number of years of helping others by simply crawling to aid both awareness and raise money to help cure a need.  I wanted a true challenge and over the last two years I have been crawling to enable me to crawl three peaks in East Lothian in one day. 

On Saturday 31st August I will crawl to the top of all three of the following peaks consecutively. 

I will start the day with Hopetoun Monument from the gate in the car park at a distance of 306m. 

Following this I will crawl 612 m up Traprain Law.

Finally I will crawll 720m up North Berwick Law with as many others as want to join me.

As this is the first year of Crawl4cure I have chosen Wateraid to support. I strongly believe every human on the planet has the right to:  clean drinking water, access to a toilet and basic hygiene.  We take it for granted. In 2019 still 1 in 9 people (700 million) in the world still don't have this need met.  So help us help those less fortunate.

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good. With clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, children are born healthier. They get the chance to go to school and grow up to become adults. Women and men get to earn a living. Whole communities start to thrive. It sounds normal and it should be.
