Bob's Virtual Tour

Bob's Virtual Tour · 21 April 2020
During the lock-down my goal is to cycle over 12 miles every day. So far, since the start, March 24th, I have cycled a total of 773 miles (as of May 16th). I am doing the miles although they are restricted to Inverclyde since we are not allowed to exercise outside of our local area. The pedaling is genuine. My goal is to keep going until I virtually reach Land's End. I will not stop until I virtually get there. You can support me and our NHS workers by giving a small donation. Every donation will be like a wind on my back.
Update: 22/04/2020
I sent an email today to NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, to their fundraising co-ordinator Kim Friel and asked how any money we raised might be spent. She responded immediately:
"As the fund raiser you can decide how your funds are used. You can donate them to a specific Speciality like Cancer or to a specific Hospital. We have currently opened a new fund in respond to the donations which we are receiving during these challenging time and any money put into that fund will be used as detailed here
Funding well-being packs/gifts for staff and volunteers on wards/departments Other items as identified by members and their NHS bodies that enhance the well-being of NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by COVID-19."
I basically sent back a message confirming that I would like to see any funds raised go to helping medical staff and patients affected by COVID-19 in any area of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
So your contribution can make a real difference.
