Story
Comedian Bobby Mair here again. Last week, my wife and fellow comedian Harret Kemsley agreed I could sing the entire soundtrack of Hamilton to her if we raised 200 pounds for The Trussell Trust which supports 2/3 of food banks. In the end, I did it with some help! Hilarious comedian Jayde Adams sang a great rendition of Burn, Harriet even did some singing and we have in total raised a whopping £2449 for The Trussell Trust.
But people are struggling now more than ever. Now all non-essential businesses including all salons have closed. I’ve always wanted to cut someone’s hair but because of my shakey hands and having no idea what looks nice Harriet has always refused! But since she's a sucker for charity Harriet has reluctantly agreed that if we get that number up to £3000 she will let me cut and dye her hair.
If we get up to £3000, we will live stream my first day as a hairdresser on Harriet's Instagram Live at 7PM on Friday.
To be clear, I have NEVER cut or dyed anyone’s hair. On top of that, Harriet has quite a large head and there’s a good chance that with the botched job I'm going to do she will look like an egg. But she's willing to take that risk for The Trussell Trust.
The Trussell Trust supports a network of over 1,200 food bank centres to provide emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people in crisis which I think we can all agree, will be a lot of people very soon.
Obviously A LOT of people are struggling. If you can give, AMAZING. If you can't give that's completely understandable but if you want give us a like, share or retweet to help notify the people who can.
