Story

Hi,

As most of you will know The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice’s award-winning (A Little Less) Strictly Come Dancing event is back!

And yes, you guessed it... I have taken on the challenge of participating in the event, where I will Don a pair of dancing shoes, team up with an ex-champion dancer & begin training (A lot will be needed) to allow me to perform a routine dance with my partner at the Hilton, Glasgow on 12/03/2022.

This annual event, now in its 12th year, is based on the top-ratings BBC Television show. Hosted by Carol Smillie and Bryan Burnett, the show will consist of eight former Scottish ballroom dance champions and partner them with contestants from the world of business. Each couple battles it out to see who can not only raise the most for the hospice but who can pick up the all-important Glitter Ball Trophy. We are also joined on the night by our BBC Strictly Pro Dancer guests who will entertain the audience with a spectacular show dance. The soundtrack to the evening is provided by the 18-piece Syd Lawrence Orchestra.

It is a fantastic event that provides so much for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, With fundraising for the Hospice at the heart of the Event... Of Course, through all your help and generous donations once the fundraising has been achieved we can focus on the dancing and putting on a show (and hopefully lifting the Glitterball).

Thank you to every single person who donates... no donation is too small and every contribution is appreciated by myself, the staff and more importantly the patients at the Hospice.

Join us for one of the most glamorous events in the hospice's calendar.

Bobby.
