The Bobby Dhanjal Foundation

In 2012, the company directors and founders of
BDWM, Bobby and Lisa Dhanjal started up the foundation for children under the
community umbrella, to support local under privileged and disadvantaged
children aged from birth to 16 .

Bobby who grew up in Leicester was eager to give
something back to his city and invest in its future.

The Bobby Dhanjal Foundation is made up of funds
from personal donations and staff fundraising activity and has been set up to
support local non-government backed charities that are local especially
focusing on the disadvantaged city children.

By setting up the fund with Leicestershire &
Rutland Community Foundation, BDWM are benefiting from the government match of
every £1 for every £2 donated for long term local support.

Staff of BDWM along with family, friends and local
community individuals get involved annually to collect as many Easter Eggs to
then donate them to local Leicestershire groups and play schemes, in 2022 we
donated over 500 eggs to local playgrounds such as Goldhill Activity
Playground, Northfields Play Barn and Young Leicestershire.

Bobby Dhanjal Foundation feel it is important to
work closely with these local groups to ensure that children get to play in an
environment where they can thrive and enjoy the simple pleasures of outside
playgrounds.

Bobby Dhanjal Foundation are also known to donate
money for underprivileged children from any background, race or religion and
believe that they should have the experience of playing and making new friends
in a  safe environment by giving them to
chance to visit holiday homes in Mablethorpe.

Recent Comments and Thankyou’s from
our 2022 Easter Egg Collection

“We would like to say a huge thank you
for your kind donation to the children that attend Northfields Play barn. They
were over the moon with their Easter Eggs, and they all participated in a large
Easter Egg Hunt. We are so grateful for your help, and you have made a real
difference to the local children’s Easter”

“Thank you very much for your generous
donation of Easter Eggs. We ensured that they went to the young people of
Leicestershire that needed them the most. Best Wishes from Young
Leicestershire”
