Story

Hi guys,

I have just started training (Monday 24th March) for my first half marathon! And... having just completed my first 10k run in Bradford 10 days ago, I feel like I can DO THIS!

Nearly everybody knows somebody who has been affected by cancer.

I lost my second cousin to leukemia as a baby. Someone I love very much is still fighting, after several years with the disease, and a couple of close friends have lost loved ones recently.

Now seems a fitting time to raise some money for a good cause.

After 8 Million was raised for Cancer Research recently with the 'selfies' - I was looking for a different cancer charity, or a local cancer ward or organisation to raise money for. Upon asking those affected for advice, a popular answer was Macmillan. I agree.

I am aiming for a time of 1hr 45mins. I will be running with my Uncle Chris. Please donate and I really, really appreciate your help.

Any small amount will help, don't feel pressured to put a £5 or £10 donation unless you can afford it.

Love Bob.
