The last couple of years have seen us expand our programme work, helping many more seafarers and their families. We now have more than 100 active chaplains as well as ship visitors who are signed up to the ICMA Code of Conduct which sets out the need to show unconditional Christian love to all seafarers, to work ecumenically with other missions and refrain from proselytising. Our chaplains are working across 91 ports and are transforming lives in seafaring communities with everything from building new homes to providing bikes to get to school.
