Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Earlier this year my beloved dad, Kenny Fisher was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This was of course an incredibly difficult time for all of us but I still remained positive that he would pull through.
However, after carrying out some research I was shocked by just how deadly this form of cancer is with it being basically symptomless until it has spread to other areas of the body.
Less than four months later on 30th June 2016 Kenny died, having fought every step of the way. His strength was incredible throughout and we are all so proud of the man he was.
I decided before he passed away that I would do anything I could to raise some money for what is a horrific and merciless illness. So this is the first part of my journey.
On Sunday 2nd October 2016 I will be running the Great Scottish run, half marathon along with my brother in law, Alastair McKie ,cousin Alan Young and a number of friends! My wife, Shona and sister in law Laura McKie will be running the 10K that day also.
I know I speak for all of us when I say we would be incredibly grateful for any donations made in regards to this charity which means so much to me and my family.
Thank you.
