• That simple idea—of sending a group of students to college together so they could support one another—became the impetus for a program that today has sent thousands of students to top colleges and universities across the country.
• Nationally, Posse has selected and trained over 10,000 Scholars and awarded $1.6 billion in full-tuition scholarships to our partner colleges and universities.
• Today Posse operates chapters in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, the San Francisco Bay Area and Washington, D.C., and the Bay Area. In addition to these brick-and-mortar sites, Posse recruits students virtually from other major U.S. cities, including Charlotte, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Memphis, Newark, Philadelphia and select cities in Minnesota and Virginia.

• Posse has a 90 percent graduation rate, which is higher than the national average and comparable to the graduation rates of the most selective institutions in the country.
• Posse awards its Scholars full tuition merit-based scholarships.
• Posse’s ultimate goal is to build a leadership network for the workforce that represents the diversity of the U.S.
• Posse Los Angeles serves the second largest school district in the nation. 
• It costs $50,000 annually to support one Posse (10 students). 
• For every dollar donated, Posse leverages $6 in scholarship funding from partner schools. 
• Posse Los Angeles proudly partners with corporate partners, such as Bank of America, who offer Posse Scholars meaningful pathways to career success.
