This is my last year serving Cool Girls and I accepted the position of Board Chairperson at the start of our June fiscal year.  I want to make it a great year for Cool Girls as we celebrate our 35^th year of serving underprivileged Atlanta girls. This year we will achieve the following:

•    Serve 230 girls in Atlanta in Title 1 schools (poverty level) to help change their lives. We will also add one additional school to those that we serve.

•    Provide after school programs to elementary and middle school girls to help them navigate life decisions in their early, vulnerable years. Our programs covers a range of topics including body development, internet bullying, STEM topics, and many others.

•    Provide high school girls with programs to guide them through the preparation and process for college education.

•    Award $4,000 in scholarships to 17 girls with the commitment to continuing the scholarship through four years of college. This year, we established $4,000 per girl as our floor for the scholarships we will award in the future.

We have a target of raising $110k in this event towards our $1 million dollar budget.  I am hoping you will help us change the lives of the Atlanta girls that we serve with a donation.
