There are currently 750,000 people with dementia in the UK and there will be over a million people with dementia by 2021, but we can make a difference.

could fund a PhD researcher for one day to continue vital research into understanding the causes of dementia, how it can be treated and, ultimately, to find a cure.

 

Most people know someone who has directly or indirectly been affected by Alzheimer's, this is a most debilitating disease and has often been classed as a living death and soul destroying for all concerned who have to support or deal with this illness.
