Bob is known throughtout the parachuting world as a well respected and loved man.  He was always modest, quietly worked away beind the scenes to acheive the very best he could for all concerned.  His dedication to his work was second to none because he cared.  He was a role model to many.

He was also a great father to Karen and I and a much loved grandfather to Tom, Jim, Dan and Sophie. 

Dad suffered quietly and privately with pancreatic cancer, never once complaining.  He faught bravely and was only ever worried about 'us' never himself. 

The Salisbury Hospice gave dad the care he needed at a very difficult time.  This care enabled dad to leave (firstly Salisbury District hospital) then the hospice and return to be with us for the remainder of his time.  To be at home with his family is where he wanted to be.  Without their care he would not have been able to come home, and for this we will be eternally grateful. 

We will miss him every single day.
