I am celebrating my retirement from the English Department at MGS (after 31 years) by setting out at the end of May to cycle the scenic route from Land's End to John o'Groats.  I will average 120 miles a day for 9 days.  I have had a great time teaching at MGS and regard it as a great school - not least because of the diversity of its pupils , many of them supported by means-tested bursaries provided by The MGS Trust.
