Story
We are colleagues from the Bank of Montreal (BMO) in London,
and on July 1st we are racing to the top of Mount Snowdon (and
back down!) to raise awareness and money for Back Up Trust.
The difference is that one of the team members assigned to us has
suffered a life changing spinal cord injury and will be using a
wheel chair, so we will all push and pull together to the top and back!
These brave volunteers are Stephanie Brown, Josh Landmann, and Ollie Thorn.
The Back-Up Trust helps people with spinal cord injury to transform their lives. They are focused on offering support, encouraging
independence and inspiring people to lead the lives they want to lead.
Our 40 BMO volunteers are made up in teams as follows:
- Team: "BMOuntain" Steph Brown, Adam Norris, Gary Dolan, Graham Hall, Hardeep Najran, Harriet Shopland-Reed, Jatinder Kooner, Joanna Lingard, Jonathon Brown, Kasun Wimalagunsekara, Nicholas Sauer, Praful Kila, Sarah Miller, Steve Kelley, and Tom Smith.
- Team: "These Suits Were Made For Walkin" Josh Landmann, Anthony Kiantos, Carmen Jackson, Christopher Oliver, Clancy Hutchins, Edward Broadhead, James Ball, Jane Anne Negi, Jonathan Dunn, Oliver Shanks, Orele Pluck, Richard Tarrant, Satpal Plaha, and Tomas Fiala.
- Team: "BMOleHill" Ollie Thorn, Andreea Georgescu, Craig Bateman, Darnell Johnson, Fred Evans, Josephine Jonathan, Majella Maher, Nick Chetwood, Nitisha Bosamia, Peter Grant, Peter Marshall, Robert Gates, Scott McEllen, and Toby Boatwright.
Steph Brown says "I want to do something different and show people that I'm in a wheelchair but I can still do these things!"
We would like to raise as much as we can to support the charity while also inspire some healthy competition between our teams; if you are kind enough to donate please list the team you are supporting.
Thank you very much for your support.
Your donation will help to transform lives!
