Story
Nearly 1000 days ago, Ben Maris and James Robinson peer pressured each other into what has turned out to be the most cursed marathon. 🧙♂️
National lockdown(s), injuries and illness have stopped us from running 3 times so far, but we're both ready to feel the hurt again and give it another shot!
Don't they always say 4th time lucky?
As well as a fundraising event pencilled in for later in the year, we're offering a couple of ways to spend your donation:
- Add a song to our marathon spotify playlist - yes, we will both be tuning in to whatever (and we mean WHATEVER) you dictate for us on the day of the run.
- Take part in our sweepstake - guess our average time, and earn half of the pot! For those who have already played in the previous iteration, you will get the opportunity to adjust your guesses as we have both adjusted our aspirational times slightly over the years 😂
If you'd like to get involved in these, send us a message!
We're running in support of UK Youth - a charity that Aiimi have been working with for many years 'with a vision that all young people are equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives'.
Finally, if anyone is available and able to come to London on the day (2nd October) any cheerleaders would be incredibly welcome! (outfit optional, but encouraged)
