Fundraising for THE CHRISTIE CHARITY
Story
The Blues 'n' Twos Events Committee comprise of serving and retired police officers from Greater Manchester Police Service. We organise events to raise funds for our chosen charity and this year we have organised a 'Comedy Night' at the Frog & Bucket Comedy Club, Oldham Street, City Centre, Manchester on the 24th June. Please join us for a laugh whilst raising money for The Christie.
We are also organising our annual Blues 'n' Twos Classic Golf Competition raising funds for the same charity.
Our event has been supported by several sporting legends, such as Sir Bobby Charlton, Alex Stepney, Ian Callaghan, Roy Evans, John Parrot, Dennis Taylor, Ian St John, Brian Labone, Jim Beglin, Mike Summerbee and TV personalities including, Stan Boardman and Vince Earl.
Our next event will be held on Tuesday 28th July 2009 at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, Formby, Merseyside, and we hope, with your help to have raised another healthy donation to what I am sure you will agree is a very worthy cause.
