Story
Christmas is such a magical and exciting time for many but for others it can be a sad and lonely time. Myself and my husband know the feeling all too well after losing our little boy on Christmas eve 2020. Although we have our bundle of joy this year it still doesn't get any easier and the emptiness still remains. I have not spoken much about our loss only to a select few I feel comfortable enough to as until now I have felt my story would only ruin someone else's day or to avoid the old 'It just wasn't meant to be' sympathy.
BUT...
As we are fast approaching a new year we want to talk about our journey and honour our baby by trying to help others, so we are raising money for the amazing bereavement team at Broomfield hospital called 'The Blossom Suite' for other parents who have also suffered the loss of their baby and shall benefit from the support that they provide such as Special memory making, Psychotherapy, Essential equipment, Support materials and services.
Not only do the Blossom Team go above and Beyond, We ourselves have beautiful keepsakes and memories of our baby from hand/foot casts to memory boxes and hair lockets that you wouldn't normally think of collecting amidst of all the grief.
Anything that you can go donate I know will make a massive difference to a family's loss.
Thank you to the NHS, Thank you to the Blossom Suite and Thank you for donating.
Have a lovely Christmas X
