As a family we are devastated by Mike's passing and are asking for family flowers only at his upcoming funeral,  anyone who wishes to mark his passing may instead wish to contribute to the 'Blood Counts' Charity

Mike received exceptional care on Ward F11, Haematology at The Royal Oldham Hospital, where they look after people with blood diseases and blood cancers. The 'Blood Counts' charity supports staff, patients and relatives for example by purchasing additional equipment for the ward and to facilitate overnight stays for relatives.

I know this charity and the staff that worked on the ward were very close to Mike and his fiancee, Jill's hearts and as a very small charity I know how grateful they will be for any funds raised.
