The Manta people live on the banks of Patwakali, Bangladesh. They have been landless for over 3 generations without education, sanitation, and shelter. Their lives are intertwined with their small boats and they call the open river their home.

Story

Help us build a boat school for the Manta Children. The Manta live in Patwakali, Bangladesh and are landless. For 3 generations (100 years) they have lived on their small boats. The young people have no choice but to work with their parents starting at 4am and working sometimes for 10-12 hours. Help us provide a boat school which will help them start to break free from the current situation and with your help we can realise their long term dream to be on land again.

100% of your donations will be used for this project to support the Manta community to build a boast school
