Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm not a fan of running - I can barely run for the bus and have only ever been running to show some attempt at keeping fit, if it were up to me I would quite happily just walk places occassionally and eat cake all day long. However I love my amazing friend Kirsty - we met at university and bonded over me guarding her bottle of wine whilst she went to the bathroom, my guarding abilities and the fact I didn't steal any sealed the friendship.
Kirsty was born 11 weeks early and weighed 970 grams at birth, doctors gave her a 30% chance of survival however she was a fighter and left hospital one week before her due date. She was very lucky but a lot of babies born early are not - born too soon, too small and too sick. Bliss is the only national charity dedicated to improving both the survival and long-term quality of life for these babies.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So if you have any spare pennies please donate them to an amazing cause - because no matter how much pain I am in running it can't compare to anything that the families and babies born too early go through.
Thank you :)
