While in Kenya, we visited the Eye Care Project that my 2nd cousin is leading. The project studying the changes in peoples' vision in the last 5 years since they were last tested. The study doesn't cover the cost of any treatment required by patients along the way.
George, Jack and George'sfriend Ying Ming are therefore running the Mini Great South Run in Portsmouth, UK in October, completely blindfolded to raise money for patient care...£40 pays for a complete cataract treatment, including transport and after-care.
