The Walk to END PKD signifies a group united in spirit, moving towards treatment options and a cure for PKD, one of the most common life-threatening genetic diseases affecting thousands in Canada. A cure is our finish line!

Story

I am walking to End PKD as this is a cause that affects me personally. I am part of the team "A Family Affair" because PKD truly is a family affair for me and my family. I personally live with PKD as do several members of my family including my brother, mother, aunt, and it took the life of my grandfather, Wray Nagel, at the age of 35 in 1972. I walk in hope of finding a cure for me and others who live with PKD and that others will not have to live with PKD in the future. I thank all of you for your support for me, my family and all those who live with PKD.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you!
Blair
