Thank you for visiting Blackstone Chambers' fundraising page for Together We Learn, through the 2022 Royal Parks Half Marathon.

The team is intending to raise money for the organisation Together We Learn, that supports children in Ethiopia to strive for a brighter future through access to quality education. They believe in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty by enabling children to learn,
grow and access opportunities. Together We Learn works with children, their families and communities in Ethiopia to identify problems they face at home and how to overcome these so they can attend and excel in school. Projects include student sponsorship to help children stay in school, construction of classrooms, taps and other facilities at schools, special projects to help girls succeed in education, training for teachers to improve quality of teaching, and after-school clubs and activities to improve children’s quality of life.

We have a fantastic team of 14 runners representing Blackstone Chambers, led by Tim Otty KC. Not only is Tim a phenomenal runner, but the charity is also a cause very close to his heart. Tim says;

"Gabriella and I have supported Together We Learn since we began the process of adopting our first daughter Monica from Ethiopia in 2011. They are a remarkable charity who do wonderful work for children facing very challenging circumstances – do take a look at their website if you have 2 minutes www.twlethiopia.org . Gabriella is in fact now a Trustee and is hugely impressed by the dedication of the staff in the UK and in Ethiopia particularly in the very trying times now facing the country. Many of you have sponsored me for various running endeavours on their behalf in the past and as ever I would be hugely grateful for any support for the wonderful team of runners we have assembled this year.
