A gardening life now ended,
digging, sowing, and watering is done

A love of God’s creation,
passed to many generations, a precious gift that lives on

Rough hands that cultivated
natures beauty, held us safe with a loving touch,

Grateful hearts poured out for
a loving father, and a life that has provided so much

Dad had a simple faith, never took
anything or anyone for granted and considered it a blessing to be tending
plants. He loved his family dearly, but it was a love that was given freely and
every member of staff, every customer and anyone he knew was special to him.

Dad – wash off you boots, hang your coat, and take off
your gloves one last time,

Your work is done – Gardens will continue to flourish as
Your legacy lives on
