Binzi's Midnight Walk 

 

I am fundraising for the St Luke’s Hospice in memory of my late friend Dipesh Patel who lost his battle to cancer last September.  He celebrated his 50 birthday with all friends and family in January and it appeared that he had won his battle. Alas the cancer came back with a vengeance like sadly it quite often does.  Dipesh was an amazing person, always helping people and touched the life of everyone he knew, he will always remain in our hearts forever.

 

He taught me that every minute of life is precious and we should make the best of it and do the things we desire and if we are fortunate enough always give back..

 

Your smile, love, warmth and kindness always seemed to smooth everyone's way.  Gone, yet not forgotten, your gentle spirit still lives in everyone's hearts.  No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye.  You were gone before we knew it and only God knows

 

Your life was a beautiful memory, your death a silent grief.  Sleep in God's beautiful garden, in sunshine of perfect peace.
You had so much to live for, and so much to give, always helping others and putting them first.  Your hard work and on-going Charity work will never be forgotten by those to whom you have made a difference.  Rest in peace. 

 

He was in St Luke’s Hospice for 3 days before he lost his life and the staff at St Luke’s Hospice were amazing.  My sincere thanks goes to them.
