Billy's 24 hour Snooker Marathon
Fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust
Fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust
My name is Billy O' Connor, I am 17 years old, and was diagnosed with Cancer (Germ Cell Tumor) in November 2012. I was treated on the Teenage Cancer ward at UCLH Hospital, where I received so much support from everyone, which helped me fight through.
I am now under going chemothearpy again, and I'd like to fundraise for the Teenage Cancer Trust to give back, for all the support I had.
Snooker is a big part of my life, and I have been playing for 9 years. I am the captain of the England U16s, and I regulary compete nationally.
I wil be taking part in a 24 hour Snooker Marathon on the 16th August at the Upton Park Snooker Club, on Green Street, and your support would be greatly appreciated. Playing Snooker for 24 hours is not going to be easy, especially considering that I've only recently finished treatment, and my endurance is still quite low. Please donate as much or as little as you can.
