My bro, Alan Bell, passed this month after a very long battle with Huntington’s. He fought longer and harder than anyone thought possible. Alan touched many people in his life with his enduring spirit. He was a strong and uniquely willed man. I will be chuffed if I can get a few quid to help families of sufferers and further research into this disease. I knew Alan for the 42 years I have been alive. I have had my beard for 12 years which is as long as I have been in England, longer than I have known Kate and greater than the sum total of my children’s age. Love you bro. X
