Story

Suffolk Libraries is an independent charity that runs Suffolk’s library service. They nurture children’s literacy, support vulnerable people and promote wellbeing across Suffolk.

Fundraising is increasingly important to Suffolk Libraries. They have a huge impact in the community; tackling loneliness and isolation, helping to improve peoples wellbeing and mental health and offering vital free services to people who need them.

It is estimated that Suffolk Libraries has a social impact on the county valued at £2,000,000 (the saving to individuals or the NHS had they sought out private or alternative support) and that is from just three of their activities.

The pandemic had a significant impact on fundraising and income generation so we're looking at new ways to engage people with our fundraising activities.

The Skyline ride is a great opportunity to take on a very rewarding challenge and support what we do.
