Bill suffered with Alzheimer's. He and his wife Joan benefitted greatly from the help of the Alzheimer's Society. Their work is invaluable in improving the quality of life of people affected by dementia, supporting carers and improving our understanding of the disease, allowing doctors to improve treatment.
