Biking for EJI (Virtual Fundraiser), 16 August 2020

Story

This summer I will be Biking for EJI to raise funds and awareness for the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) by August 31. EJI is a nonprofit that provides legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. It was founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson, a public interest lawyer and bestselling author of Just Mercy.

Target Goals: My fundraiser Biking for EJI serves two purposes: 1) raise awareness about EJI's mission and 2) raise awareness about black people’s mental health. The latter has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and recent events involving police brutality and racial injustice.

Donate and Support: Please use the link to donate and share with your network. You can also raise awareness by following  @bikingforEJI on Instagram or tag #bikingforEJI.
